Welcome to St. Rochus-Hospital Telgte
Specialised in psychiatric care and psychotherapy, our hospital is amongst the oldest of its kind (founded in 1848) in Westphalia as well as one of those with the latest therapies and a wide range of departments. Once founded by the Sisters of the Order of St. Francis, we provide today 291 beds for in-patients on a beautiful campus in walking distance of the city of Telgte.
Our departments include Psychiatric and Psychosomatic Care, Gerontological Psychiatry, Addiction Therapy, a Psychiatric out-patients Department, a Mobile out-patients Care Service, and two centres for out-patients in the cities of Warendorf and Ahlen. Using this wide range of medical competences, we provide treatments for all psychiatric needs of adults with reactive and endogen depressions,
anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, neuroses, psychoses, addiction disorders, and geriatric disorders. Besides these clinical treatments we provide guided living and working for adults with mental disorders to prepare them for their return into their everyday lives.
The city of Telgte (www.telgte.de) was founded almost 1,200 years ago and is amongst the most well-known pilgrimage sites in Germany. The beautiful city centre between the river Ems and Mary’s Chapel is surrounded by the green plains of the Münsterland where cycling is highly popular. The city of Münster with its universities and the city of Warendorf are in easy reach by public transport, or bike.
If you are a professional nurse with German B2-Certificate and hold a (partly) recognition as Gesundheits- und Krankenpfleger or Pflegefachfrau/Pflegefachmann issued by authorities of North Rhine-Westphalia (Düsseldorf or Münster) we invite you to apply via the International Recruiting department of St. Francis-Foundation: https://www.st-franziskus-stiftung.de/karriere/international-recruiting-de.html.
